I've been to New York a bunch of times, but I'm always surprised at how much busier it is than Philly; there's so many people. The class went to see several galleries around the city, including the International Center of Photography, where
Sebastiao Salgado's work was being shown. I am always in awe of nature photography. Having the patience and expertise to be able to take the compositions that he did amazed me. His photographs of native peoples, too, were stunning.
Going through all of the smaller galleries was neat, Vivian Maier's gallery resonated with me.
